The resolution regarding annexation has passed:

"The South Lake Sammamish Association enthusiastically supports the Annexation of the Greenwood Point Potential Annexation Area to the City of Issaquah.  Leading up to the November election, our organization will work diligently to encourage voters to approve ballot measures relating to Annexation to Issaquah and the Acceptance of our fair share of the City's existing bond-related debt."

Our voting is like the electoral college, with each neighborhood controlling a fixed number of votes. 18 of the possible 23 votes have been submitted, which is well above the 60% threshold required to take a stand.  Thanks to everyone who worked with or on HOA boards to get the resolution considered:

In Favor: Greenwood Point (3), Meerwood (3), Sammamish Beach Club (3), Sammamish Crown (2), South Cove (6), Sammamish View (1). 

Opposed: None

If your group isn't listed: It is still useful to lengthen the list of HOAs and neighborhood groups that have taken an affirmative stand! Be sure and let us know if your neighborhood takes a stand.
